Urban Trail

In 1992, Doug Quark left the supervision of the flagship Quarks store in Polo Park Shopping Centre to open the first Urban Trail location, also in Polo Park Shopping Centre. The first Urban Trail store carried similar brands to Quarks, but catered more to the active, urban, outdoor lifestyle. Urban Trail's product lines provide a balanced mix of both technical and lifestyle footwear, clothing and accessories, designed to take the customer from the trails to the city in both style and comfort. Product names like Merrell, The North Face, and Smart Wool have become synonymous with Urban Trail.

Today there are five Urban Trail locations throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, in addition to three combination Quarks/Urban Trail stores.
